Heather Cronin grew up on Nantucket Island, with the moving colors and patterns of the wind and the sea. This immersion in this unique natural environment is an ever- present inspiration for her artistic process as well as her reflective delving and feeling of the contrasting experiences of living .
She lives and creates in her Dartmouth studio. Heather is a self proclaimed Scainter; A sculptress. Ceramicist and Painter all in one. She graduated from RISD as a Ceramic undergraduate then received her Masters in Ceramics At UMass Dartmouth and then returned to RISD for her masters in teaching.
